Bottles
PTFE is an excellent material for bottles storing API's, bulk intermediates and critical reagents. PTFE has a wide temperature resistance range, coupled with its ability to withstand rigorous cleaning procedures (viz those which require boiling nitric acid ) make bottles made of PTFE ideal for storage of material with high value.
PTFE bottles are generally used for the following- Storage of high purity chemicals.
- Trace analysis - Analysis of metal elements in a media by AA or ICP-MS.
- Quality assurance purpose - By Quality Assurance dept. to analyze sample of chemicals.
- Use for strong acid/alkali or PURE Water .
- For hydrofluoric acid (HF) - glass can not be used for HF, so PTFE bottles are used . Custom sized bottles available with wide or narrow neck as required. All bottles have a leak proof cap.
